Encode File (UTF-8)

Before this, I had post about chart of accounts accrual. Today, I want to share a few thing before upload the file to Openbravo

First thing is the file is complete with the information needed. Then, you must make sure that file is encode with UTF-8.

How to save the file with UTF-8. Lets we explore together.

1) Prepare the file
 

2) Click File > Save As

3) It will pop up one window that show the type of file, choose CSV (Comma delimited)

4) In the same pop up window, at the bottom, click Tools > Web Option

5) It will appear another pop up with a few tab, choose Encoding and at the 'Save this document as' drop down, select 'Unicode (UTF-8)'

6) Click OK and Save button. After that it will appear an alert box about compatible, just click Yes button

Now your file is already save with UTF-8. Good Luck
